Mum
Her hair bounces
just like a spring.
Her eyes are two pieces of
dark brown wood from the forest.
She has soft hands and
the best hugs.
I love my mum one million times
around Tonga.

A Girl's Head
A girl’s head
In it there is a future
and a project
for doing away with chores.
And there is the past
which shall be first.
And there is
an entirely new dog
an entirely new home
an entirely new school.
There is a tree
that carries fruit.
There is a ton of homework
that my teacher left.
There is no matter
And it cannot be held back.
I believe that only
what cannot be held back
is a head.
There is much promise
in the fact that there
are so many heads.

Day and Night
In the day students come to school, teachers help them learn during a busy school day.
In the night there is no one there but the lonely security guard walks around the school.

At wood work I had fun I thought it was going to be hard but it wasn't because Mr Thomas helped me. I am glad that Mr Thomas helped me.

Tui Report
Tui Report
A tui is a bird that has black feathers and it has a white tuft under its chin.
The tui is the first bird to sing early in the morning. The tui croaks, coughs, bell like notes and it squeaks. That’s when they are calling.
The tui eats berries, fruit, insects, and nectar. The tui feeds the young tiny tui insect and nectar in the first few days. The older chicks are fed berries, moths, spiders and larger insects, especially sticky insects.
In spring the tui travels outside its normal territory to feed. They also travel in the forests and scrubs and some time they travel to other places. Where there is more supply of nectar. They also go to open counties and gardens. All of the tuis are found in New Zealand and offshore islands.
The parents move to the islands in November or December to make their nest. They lay their eggs some lay two to four.

I asked the little boy who cannot see
I asked the little boy who cannot see
I asked the little boy who cannot see,
‘And what is colour like?’
‘Why blue,’ said he
You can hear in the rain drops plopping onto the ground,
Red smells like a strawberry fresh from the garden,
The warm sun as it shines on my face is a beautiful yellow,
And purple is smelling a beautiful flower,
Green is like hearing the trees go swish
White is the wind blowing through me,
And brown; squishy mud when it raining.

My awesome holiday
Yahoo!!! It was a exciting day for my family and I. It was Christmas!! I went into my living room and I saw lots of presents under the Christmas tree. My parents were in the kitchen cooking food for my family to eat. When the food was ready we started to eat. After we ate my parents gathered my bothers and sisters to open some of the presents. I got some clothes, shoes and also a big lolly pop. I really liked my presents.
Then on Monday I went to my auntie’s house. When it was night time I slept over at her house. I played with my cousins and then we went to the pools. We stayed in the pools because we did not want to get sun burnt. It was amazing going on the slide.
We were going to go to the movies but my auntie said that we should go to the beach instead because it was such a hot day. I wanted to go into the water but my auntie said that we had to wait for the sunblock to sink in. Then I went into the water, the water was nice and cold. I only swam for an hour then it was time to go home. My auntie dropped me off at my house. I had a fantastic time at my aunty’s. I hope I get to do it again next holidays.
